Cavendish Beach hosts this year's event. Come play on one of the most beautiful beaches in Canada. The Cavendish area is proud to host the 2010 Cavendish Beach Volleyball Tournament.

Divisions:

Men’s 2’sTier 1 & 2
Women’s 2’s Tier 1& 2
Quads Tier 1& 2
Youth 2’s Ages 15U & 18U


Tournament Registration

Doubles - $60/team
Quads - $100/team
Youth Doubles $50/team

Tournament Rules:
This is a public event on a public beach ...
Do not sit or walk on the dunes.
Use of alcohol, drugs & profanity is prohibited.
Please report offensive player & spectator conduct.
No pets allowed on the beach, due to national park regulations.
Normal park entrance fees apply to all people entering the park


Playing Rules:

Team composition
Players are allowed to play in one division only.
Doubles may only register two players i.e. no substitutions for any reason.
Quads teams may only register four players (2 males, 2 females). no replacements allowed.
Game ball
teams supply their own ball. agree on the one you will play with and play ball!!
Scoring

All round robin matches will be two games to 21 (one point for each set and one for the match, cap of 25) all play-off matches will be best two of three with the third to 15 no cap

Game Rules
Using Volleyball Canada’s Beach Rules
There will be no officials, teams are expected to officiate their
own matches and report scores to the control center

QUADS: If more than one person on a team contacts the ball prior to returning it to the opponents, both genders have to be part of the play. sequence doesn't matter.

** warm up is limited to 5 minutes on court, please warm up off the court before your match and be ready once court is available to start your hitting warm up.
