Get up-closer and personal with the sun!

Come and see the real ‘star’ of the day! Join us as we host The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada for a fun and interactive session dedicated to the Sun. We all know how unsafe it can be to look directly at the sun, but on July 17th, at the Dalvay Trailhouse, members of the RASC will have their specialized solar telescope on hand to allow for safe solar viewing! Join us in this once in a lifetime event as we take a look at our solar system’s biggest star! Come and discover things you never knew about the Sun, and explore its surface with us! Participants are asked to meet their guides at the Dalvay Trailhouse at 2:30pm on July 17th to begin this 1 hour tour, weather permitting.

All PEI National Park admission and program fees are FREE on July 17th!
