Join us in a stargazing expedition through the summer night sky.
Join the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada for an evening of stargazing in the PEI National Park. We’ll be looking at the rings of Saturn, getting close-ups of the craters on the Moon, and learning all about summer constellations. Friendly and knowledgeable amateur astronomers will be on hand to answer your questions and provide a guided tour of the summer sky. Get an idea of just how vast our galaxy really is and begin to understand what it is like to be an astronomer. Participants are asked to meet their guides at the Dalvay Trailhouse at 8:30pm for this 3 hour tour through space, weather permitting.
All PEI National Park admission and program fees are FREE on July 17th!
