Get yourself a piece of cake at Green Gables and catch a puppet show, participate in games and races or the kids craft corner or see a live demonstration (celebration starts at 10:30am)! How about experiencing a magical journey into the culture of the Mi’kmaq people? Join members of one of PEI’s oldest native tribes as they unravel the mysteries of their culture all day at Port-La-Joye/Fort Amherst. Feeling creative? Why not join us at Cavendish Beach at 1:00pm for a Sandcastle Experience? Join island artist Maurice Bernard for a fun filled demonstration on how he creates his amazing art using only sand! At long last, why not cap off your day in the National Park with some bird watching? Join the Parks Canada team (at 3:00pm) as we take you through Covehead Harbour in search of some of the PEI National Park’s resident shorebirds.
